well, if this isn’t a dream home i just don’t know what is. featured in dwell, and whitewashed and quite wonderful, it’s interior designer anouk Taeymans’ Art Nouveau apartment in antwerp belguim. a 1914 Belle Époque building, to be specific — a beautiful home with sublime architecture from around the turn of the century. i visited antwerp once and was mesmerized by these beautiful old homes, and was told by a guide that they were once abandoned and a group of artists moved in and saved them from demolition — i’m not sure if anouk lives in the particular neighborhood i visited, but i’m certainly glad these stunning homes were saved and restored — she’s done a most inspiring job with hers. for more inspiration from anouk, visit her website and be sure to check out her shop.
