vintage display cabinet with potted houseplants via coco kelley. / sfgirlbybay

it was a short week because of the holiday, but i’m still quite relieved it’s time for friday finds. so much to do, so little time when you’re packing and getting ready to move! but i couldn’t be more excited to begin sharing my decorating process and the new cottage by the beach with you. it’s fun to have a whole new place to decorate and share with you guys! have a great weekend, everyone!

xo, victoria

  1. we’ve shared this epic Antwerp-based apartment before, but there appears to be fresh pics, as featured on coco kelley recently. i didn’t see this very cool vintage display cabinet before, surrounded by greenery. oh la la!
  2. i’ve been looking for new styling inspiration for the laguna cottage, and i love this look. it’s from an australian country home that’s truly eclectic, so have a peek at the whole tour.
  3. i’ve found a single banana leaf can go a long way to add style, and often pick them from my own yard and pop them into a big vase. in the case — prop, food & interior stylist anne parker knows how to get the most of out of hers. so simple, beautiful — and they last almost forever!
  4. my design hero leanne ford has gone and done it yet again with this laid back dining room captured by @tessaneustadt. i love the unexpected use of a skateboard as decor, paired with vintage artwork and mirrors. the rusty red-painted wicker chairs are great, too.
  5. don’t you just love this sweet little nook in this berlin-based apartment? i love that lamp, the plants and mix of pillows — looks like such a cozy spot for a coffee chat.
  6. this denmark apartment has some great architectural features, including these lovely glass double doors opening up into a pretty dining room. i kind of like the idea of all doors being glass! practical, no, pretty, yes!
  7. this is a very statement-making entrance and such a smart idea to spice up a staircase — just add tile to the risers and a few steps become the beautiful focal point of a patio.
  8. sarah sherman samuel’s desert a-frame makeover is one for the design books and she recently shared a look back at it on instagram. if you’d like a look at the entire before and after pop on over and have a look.
